					<description>Yeah....that ground ought to be sacred. Harrowing stuff, but thanks for the reminder that we owe so much to those men who fought those futile battles. 

This last weekend the TV has been awash (for Remembrance Day) of tales from the trenches...and rightly so. Vera Brittain's 'Testament to Youth' and Wilfred Owen's 'Anthem for Doomed Youth' figured strongly, and it was all I could do to watch the documentaries inspired by their works detailing the horrors of war and not cry for those poor young men.
