Your use of "y'all" made me giggle.

Keep up the good work, Cliff, and hopefully you will get a new wave of readers since your link is now on my site. You certainly deserve them.

Damn right. There's no way she's living without him in her world, and the Pips know it, too.

Goin' back to find...

The thing I particularly love about the Pips in Midnight Train to Georgia, is that it's really easy to imagine them hanging out in the background, just kind of listening to Gladys wail away, and then stepping forward and being unable to resist chipping in. Their crooning isn't just harmonious - it's supportive. Uh-huh. You go sister. Off to Georgia. Go on. Yup. Get gone. Mmm-hmm.

I think it must have been posts like these that made Bonnie know that I'd end up becoming a regular to this site. When I write about music, no one comments.

But write one little throwaway entry about mac & cheese and raman noodles? Everyone has something to say.

And then you mention the Pixies and REM (again). I'm hooked.
