Everything's great, thanks. Comes and goes, but that's that. People have it worse.

I'm a lot fitter this winter than ever before and that has made a world of difference. Appreciarte the concern and good things to you too.

Bet Ed's cliff-hanger joke made you laugh? It did me.

(Can you say 'It did me'?)

Hey, it's three years down the line now. I suspect that particular down time has passed......and if you are anything like me, another grey day comes along and you work through it (or mope through it) and the light gets in eventually. Isn't it strange that thinkers and writers like you (and me, and others) who can play with words and ideas and see the funny/ridiculous side of life, succumb to depression? You think we'd be able to laugh it off - or, being so sharp, scare it off.

Perhaps we deplete our store of brain chemicals with all our thinking and introspection?

Hope everything is tickety boo now.

Sorry you're feeling 'not enough'. It's a horrid feeling.

I think it's something in the air. So many people are 'hmph' at the moment. Not that it helps does it?

I am lost for words. It's not ok to say that it'll pass but it will. Every moment ticks away from 'now' and we live through it or we don't. Then the next place is here and gone.
Sit with it and feel it and before you know it it's ok. It's gone. For now.

Hang in there, Cliff.

There's a Cliff-hanger joke in there somewhere but since you never laugh it wouldn't do any good anyways;)

Dude, you sound a little blue.
Wish I could tell you what to do.
Just drink yourself a beer or three,
and the lighter side of life you'll see.

It's no use moping and wondering "if".
Just rise above -- c'mon now, Cliff.
Give yourself a little kiss,
and blog some more at This Is This.

Hey Cliff. Watch some Quantum Leap and you'll be up an' at 'em in no time.
