I guess I can figure it all out.;)
I hope you have enough Nine Rooms entries done too.
Ah well- you have a solid good restful break, and get all energized and all that. Usually, when I go on vacation, I come back exhausted!
Relentlessly assailed by the meeja (as we are) to scenes of hatred, war and associated insanities, it was as delightful as it was unexpected to behold the obvious respect and love that infected both the performers and the audience in those clips.
Am I deceiving myself when I discern something - some energy - almost magical or mystical in those performances?
Great, great, great blog by the way, Cliff, and in case you were not aware (though I suspect that you are!) recently voted by msn.co.uk as one of the “best 30″ blogs in the universe. Or somewhere, I cannot now find the relevant link on MSN.
In any event, glad I found this place, and envisage meself returning regularly for further reading.
There is something I don’t know in those performances, but then James Taylor is a hero of mine. And even if you are decieving yourself, that’s magic anyway, isn’t it?
The MSN feature - I think that happened today and I’m overwhelmed and a little speechless. I’m often one without the other - rarely both - but it’s pretty amazing.
An to be in the top 5 is really something else, especially as the others are such good sites.
Thanks very much for stopping by and drop back anytime.

How long will you be gone?
July 21st, 2006 at 3:00 pm
Not long enough!!!
I said that last time, didn’t I? I’m reluctant to say, if truth be told. It’s not you it’s me.
Cheers Ed - there will be plenty of posts in the meantime. Courtesy of Meester Iain.

Ho Cliff
It sort of made my day, too.

Hi Martin -
There is something I don’t know in those performances, but then James Taylor is a hero of mine. And even if you are decieving yourself, that’s magic anyway, isn’t it?
