Martin - nice comment. Drunk ramblings, wordplay and linky love. It’s got it all. I’m a little confused by the French telegram, unless that’s symbolic for something else.

Be those as they may, I think you raise some valid points. Also, how’s the head?

I have always thought that Natalie Chick’s voice isn’t the best in the group and she can’t dig deep for the low notes, but she can belt them out. Great for country, not so great for JT.

Ed - like the blinks. Didn’t think you’d get the Yorkshire accent stuff, sorry.

Pete - this is one of my least favourite James Taylor songs, especially the enunciation over the BV’s. SHOWER THEEE PEEEPUL YOO LOVE WITH LO-UV. SHOW THEM THEEE WAY THAT YOU FEEE-UL.

Cliff

Hi!

Drunk now, but having been reminded of your musical bent (and BENT is NOT a bad word is it? merely another, like "gay" (mainstram) Puff ("soft furnishings") and / or hardcore (gravel, drivel) might suggest.

This word and so many more are (subject) (subject) to reclamation by ELL (English Language Users).

All of these words, and many more are availabe in the OED and sometimes WHS (smiffs news)

I am lost. Where was I? Oh yes....

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0cq0lo_TN1k

Now that is (C'est) magnificent! (magnifique!) stop

Does it get better than that?
