Pink Cares. She Cares Soooo Much.
I saw an poster ad today for a pink PSP. It had the header: PSP GOES PINK.
Under that was a picture of Pink the pop/rock chick screaming like she don’t care.
I really don’t like Pink. I mean I liked Just Like A Pill and Linda Perry is a good songwriter but here’s what really gets my party started:
She took the ad.
She cleared her schedule. She took a limo, maybe a flight to get there. Probably had a nice meal, spent some time shopping, and went into make-up. She meets the photographer, goes into the studio, they set up the lights while her PA holds her calls and her agent talks to Sony to get the money.
The photographer talks to Pink about how it’s going to work, he gets the shot prepared, and - everyone ready?…
“Pink, can you do your ‘I don’t give a fuck’ face?”
Pink does her “I don’t give a fuck” dumb shouting rebel face.
Because, like, she doesn’t care what anyone thinks, right. She’s doing her own thing, yeah?
No. People who tell you they don’t care what anyone thinks usually want you to know that they don’t care what anyone thinks.
Pink took the ad. She’s working.
The face is work.
Oh, so you give a fuck about Sony but not anything else?
Pink this.

Actually, that picture is from her album cover, so no Sony financed photo shoot was required. Go pick on a different colour.

Heh, that told you, Cliff.
Regardless, you know as well as I do that advertising is where the money is. If you want to make money out of music, at some stage you’re going to have to whore your rawk.

Mel,
Blue - twats, the lot of them. Especially Duncan.
Also, with all all due respect, Pink’s record label is owned by Sony.

Wait- aren’t Everton blue?
Man, CLiff. Negative energy to the bone today.

So surely that means they only paid her once if they already had the picture?

I doubt they paid her at all, if it’s the album cover.

Bone this.
Actually, Ed, today was one one of the greatest days of the year for me, but more about that later. I feel better than James Brown and too good for blogging right now.
Hi Mel - possibly they paid her once for the picture. Or - she got the picture free because Sony wanted to push the album, then they recycled the picture, saved money and saved Pink time, and then paid her AGAIN for use of the image. Either way, I am boycotting the Pink PSP.
“Dear Sony….”

I don’t blame you for boycotting the Pink PSP. I would too.
The only thing she was any good in was that Gladiator Pepsi commerical where she, Britney and Beyonce sang ‘We Will Rock You’. She took them both to school in that one.
I am very glad that today was one of the greatest days of the year for you, Cliff. So far it’s been rather hum-drum for me. I hope to ehar aout yoru great day soon though.

pink PSP wouldn’t suit you anyway, man.
