I was never a JAmes Brown fan. Sure I understood the impact he had on music in general in my time. I just didn't like to listen to his particular flavor of it. I was a big Gerald Ford fan though. His pardoning of Nixon was a stroke of genius- whether or not Nixon deserved it, the nation needed it in order to move on and get past the whole scandal. Gerald Ford was the guy you gave the problems to because you knew that he was going to remain unstained by them. He was on the Warren Commission, for example. In my opinion he was among the most honest politicians in history. No wonder he never won a national election, but held the two highest offices in the nation anyway. OK I’ll admit it.
