There's no connection to God there that you don't have anywhere you happen to be. There's absolutely nothing special about it, and its negatives far far far outweigh its benefits for its constituents and the rest of the world. I personally consider most religious organizations criminal outfits designed to extort money, time, effort, and blind obedience for political power and its own nefarious purposes. It has always been a serious bone of contention with me that these organizations are LEGAL- AND that they get HUGE TAX BREAKS!!!! Oops. Sorry for the rant. I'm in that mode lately.
