The montage, indeed. Great! Lots of fun. My phone doesn't do anything fun like that at all.

Your "This is a bus" idea made me think of Rene Magritte, weirdly, although it doesn't really work... it'd have to be "This is not a bus", but then it is, so, gah (although that might be the whole point of surrealists)(I always reasoned with myself that I could agree with him because of course it wasn't a pipe, it was a painting)(not sure if that was the point). Maybe "This is not a blog" or something.

I'll stop thinking now.

Just watched this again. With all the excitement about the montage, I think we missed an important highlight in our comments. Your little look of glee when you told us how you quickly pressed the lift button on the 4th floor. I've pressed that button, you know.

This banjo thing, right? If ever you actually play it in one of your vlog posts, I'm going to get scared because I'll know it's your last post. It'll be up there with finding out what Inspector Morse's real name was. Did we ever get to meet 'er indoors in Minder? Same thing. Oh - and seeing Bosley in the Charlie's Angels finale.

Have I laboured this point enough?

Takes a bow

You guys. No really. You made this happen.

Actually, there's nothing to be proud of after running past champagne in Tesco.

Ed - too kind. That would have made a good video post, though. On someone else's blog.

Wendy - your comment alone makes it worthwhile.

Katy - Thanks, it was fun to do. Although filming around the week makes me realise my new phone is more interesting than my life.

Sam - I should have the bus sponsored like the England team bus, with This Is A Bus written on it against a backdrop of the sky over the Mediterranean. Think they'd go for it?

Scaryduck. welcome. Thanks and also good point.

Genius, sir.

Although I might point out that Emmenthal is the clear King of Cheese. Closely followed by Daniel O'Donnell.

I got really excited about the bus, the bus is famous, the bus is like Ernest Hemingway's house, or Fleming's Goldeneye villa, or Jordan's ghostwriter's flat...

I still don't agree with the mushroom thing - I hate mushrooms, if this were the EU the mushrooms would never have got through to the first stage, I would vetoed them.

But anyway, brilliant video post. It reminds me I promised some students I would do addresses from my office. Might try that in the New Year.

I've seen some pretty impressive montages from some pretty impressive film-makers, but I'm not sure I've ever enjoyed any of them quite as much as I enjoyed this one. A triumph.

Cliff, Cliff, Cliff. You've been asking the wrong question. It's not "what is the king of cheese?", it's "WHO is the king of cheese?"

And the answer, my friend, is you.

Hilarious :)

Very nice, very nice. I bet you'd get fewer stares on the streets if you just asked someone else to film you while you were walking instead of holding out your arm like that. Someone coulda run along from the opposite direction and stolen the camera right outta your hand!
Seeing the bus was very cool- The Place To Interface, eh? I know you write this stuff out longhand and then transcribe it on the way to work.
