Click picture for him and more of the same. This is the dog. I love him. He knows nothing of time, and also probably everything. Most of all he is cute and funny. I realise that as an adoptive parent from a different species, this can not be down to genetics, so I am hoping it is environmental (even after 2 hours).
Also on This Is This
“The TV and everything goes through the sound system. You can’t listen to the stereo and watch TV at the same time. If you want to listen to actual CDs, you have to turn the TV off. Except we don’t have CDs. Dock the i-pod into the TV and run that through the stereo.”

That is absolutely the cutest thing I’ve ever seen, I think you’ve found the key to world peace, Mr Jones.

I heart pugs. You lucky duck.
March 30th, 2008 at 7:30 pm
Hey! What part of “bagsied” do you people not understand? This is not Cliff’s pug. This is MY pug. I thank you.
March 30th, 2008 at 11:18 pm
Sorry, Katy. You are the lucky duck.

If you don’t name him after Marty Feldman there’s something wrong with you.

Will he grow into his face?
March 31st, 2008 at 1:28 pm
I don’t know Sam, will you grow into YOUR face?
Heh.
Actually, that was pretty funny. I’ll give you that one. Also, your face is normal. OK, I got nothing.
His mum looks pretty normal, with front facing eyes - the dog’s mum this is, not Sam’s. All pug puppies look like that. As for a name, I am keeping that deep under wraps, because I’m dangerously close to breaking my real life/blog life rule, but I had to share these. I know it’s stupid, but there’s boundaries. Also, there must be more interesting things you want to know about than my life.
Pup UPDATE! (Pupdate?) or Paws for thought or Chews just in (arghhhh!):
I promise this will not turn into a dogblog and if I EVER - EVER - dress him up in a bee costume, then you may shoot me.
March 31st, 2008 at 1:45 pm
Fair enough. But if you EVER dress him in a bee costume…I wanna see the pictures! He’s lovely…
P.S. The Beeb’s looking swanky, you making your mark already?

You like? There are a lot of tired people here from working overnight. I think it’s a lot better, but obviously now the hard work begins.

Slavedriver…but if you’re not going forwards you’re moving backwards - I think it looks good, a freshening-up of an established design; you feel less overwhelmed looking at the front page. Dicey game, though - anything to do with the BBC is so emotional, it’s like tinkering with air.
March 31st, 2008 at 8:15 pm
Do I have to call the BBC office like I did the AOL office?
April 1st, 2008 at 8:49 am
Call him Spanners.
Spanners Minogue.
So mote it be.
April 1st, 2008 at 4:41 pm
Might want to remove his name from the flickr title then;)
April 2nd, 2008 at 3:32 pm
Genetic. Can’t you see the family resemblance?
April 2nd, 2008 at 11:23 pm
Bagsy? You can’t bagsy Cliff’s pug Katy! He’s sooo not electric! (yayy me!)
Does he have a name and when will you tell us it?
Bless him (in any faith we might or might not have!)
I want one. Still. With knobs on. And icing. Etc…
