Those are my feet. Like the woman in the Tom & Jerry cartoons except without the stripey socks.
So, so easy indeed.

That’s my pug. Mine. Mine by bagsy.
April 8th, 2008 at 8:47 am
This is really wierd. Those look exactly like my boots. Are you sure they are your feet? It’s just it looks so much like me standing with my dog. You can not invoke bagsy on living beings. It says so.

He’s so cute, I just can’t think of anything to say.
It’s a trick, everyone!

Pirates kidnapped a whole boatload of French tourists this week - just be careful, that’s all. Especially of that Katy - she may bagsy the boots too.

My dog. It is a picture of you standing with my dog.
April 8th, 2008 at 10:39 am
I don’t get it. What impressions is the pug doing?
I thought the second one was Ronnie Corbett, but now I’m not too sure…
(PS. Page is a nice name for him, although you did say that you weren’t going to tell us his name?)

Of course, my dog is exactly 137% more excellent than your dog.
Also: ‘Bagsy’ may be out, but their are no such rules on ‘First Dibs’. It says so.

Jonners - Great. Now I hear Ronnie Corbett’s laugh every time I look at the picture.
Ted - Did you know the French for kidnap and pirates and tourists is kidnap and pirates and touristes? Coincidence? OMFG: coincidence in French is coincidence. Quick - what’s French for bagsy?
We have touched on this before, both here and here.

Bags-not clearing up after him.
It is a him, isn’t it?
April 8th, 2008 at 1:05 pm
Bags-not checking under his skirt.
April 8th, 2008 at 1:28 pm
All these bags flying around. Cliff, tell Katy she can have the dog IF she can take care of him- that means feed him, love him, exercise him, train him, take care of his needs, teach him to be a proper member of society, and be responsible for him at all times, even if she’s nto around when he chews up someone’s slippers or pees on the carpet or tips over the potted palm in the corner or needs to go pee in the middle of a dark cold rainy night.
And then there’s your compensatory fee, of course. If you’re to give up the poor pup to Miss Newton, well, you are in for some emotional turmoil, some pain and suffering, not the least of which is your two children yowling for a new puppy. And if Miss Newton tries to bagsy that one, well, things coudl get interesting.

So cute it hurts. How do you not hug him to death?
April 8th, 2008 at 9:13 pm
Is the first one Al Pacino in Taxi Driver?
April 8th, 2008 at 9:52 pm
It’s got such a serious little face…but that just makes me want to find out if it is ticklish?
April 8th, 2008 at 10:03 pm
He. It’s a he. He is sweet. It is hard not to keep feeding him.
April 8th, 2008 at 10:24 pm
I’m pretty much on top of the whole taking care of a dog thing, what with having one of my own. I just think that Cliff should stop resisting the inevitable and hand over the pug. NOW.
April 8th, 2008 at 10:29 pm
Also, don’t be overfeeding my pug. My German Shep is always hanging round the fridge giving me the full-on RSCPCA-ad look, but I resist and so can you.
April 9th, 2008 at 5:57 pm
I’m sorry Katy.
Cliff, hand over the pug.
April 10th, 2008 at 1:07 am
NO! Ed she mustn’t. We mustn’t let her! Katy and bagsy. Just not right!
Cliff’s boots would look naked without a pug between them! (reason 1001 as to why Cliff’s pug isn’t bagsiable!)
April 10th, 2008 at 1:08 am
Ohhh and the woman in the T&J cartoons!! I loved her but feared her bigtime! ‘Thomaaaaaaaaaas!’
April 10th, 2008 at 3:46 am
SO now we’re having to hold a pug intervention for Katy?
April 10th, 2008 at 7:46 am
Cartoon note: The lady in the Tom and Jerry cartoons is called “Mammy Two Shoes”.
Mammy Two Shoes.
So mote it be.

That’s FAR better than a carrot or a bee!
