Not a single picture of either of my grandmothers have I ever seen in my life- and only one picture of my maternal grandfather, which was published in a book in 1944. I have two pictures of my father as a young man- given to me by a man who served with my father in World War II. Everything else is from after the year 2000. I come from a very very large family.
